Physical Education (2 lessons per week)
All students experience a practical PE programme where they take part in a range of individual and team sports.
Students are also encouraged to take on alternative roles in sport such as coach or referee.
Activities are selected to suit and give variety to each class, and are rotated every 6 weeks; the gymnastics programme follows a double rotation.
Emphasis is placed upon effort and team work with a working atmosphere of mutual respect at all times.
It is important that students have the correct kit with them on the correct day so that they can make full use of the opportunities offered to them.
A diverse programme of extra-curricular activities is offered during lunchtimes and after school.
A close working partnership with Lifestyle Fitness also enables students to take advantage of the fitness facilities and sessions.
