Friends of Cherry Willingham Community School

The Friends of Cherry Willingham Community School Association was successfully launched in July 2010 and we will be holding our first AGM on the 10th September at 7pm.

The Friends Association comprises of parents, teachers and other friends of the school who come together to organize educational, social and fund-raising functions.

The aims of the Association are simple: The bringing together of the School and the local community at an informal level.
All parents who have pupils at the school are automatically members of the Association.

The Association is run on a very informal basis all parents, staff and friends of the school are cordially invited to join the Association.

The school is always grateful for and appreciative of those parents who are prepared to invest some of their time in the many time consuming tasks which are a necessary part of school life.
The events that will be organized will be to help raise funds which can be used to enrich the life of the children at this school. We believe it is important that the children should also be involved in the activities of the Association, thus helping in the creation of a family atmosphere.
